 J Van MeterMy name is Mrs. Janette Van Meter (Mrs. because after 37 years of marriage I have earned the title...LOL!!!). I have a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, a master's degree in Elementary Education, a master's degree in administration, and a specialist in education. I was a National Board Teacher from 2007 -2017. I have been teaching 27 years, 12 years in special education and 15 years as a first-grade teacher. I have taught in three districts, the longest being at Charleston (23 years).

Engaging Â鶹´«Ã½ during virtual learning is not an easy task, especially for the littles. The teacher has to be entertainer, technological director, behavior specialist, juggler, and educator. I am sure that I am missing other hats that we wear to keep the littles focused.
