Clinical Experience

EIU is unique because it is in a rural setting but yet close to larger healthcare organizations.

The opportunity to train in both settings prepares the graduate to transition into any area of nursing they choose. Clinical experiences will take place in large and small hospitals, clinics, public health departments, mental health agencies, and schools. Also, clinical experience is supplemented with experiences in the simulation laboratory where care and skills are practiced in a safe and controlled environment.
