The department of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at Eastern Illinois University offers high-quality Master of Science degrees in exercise physiology and sports administration.

Students in our Exercise Physiology concentration have flexibility in their course work to prepare for careers in scientifically based exercise programs with an emphasis on cardiac rehabilitation and adult fitness or personal training and strength and conditioning. Students in our Sports Administration concentration take courses in a curriculum modeled after the standards of the Commission on Sports Management Accreditation (COSMA). The concentration provides unique opportunities for our Âé¶¹´«Ã½ by partnering with local, regional, national, and global sport organizations to provide Âé¶¹´«Ã½ with practical experience while enrolled at EIU.
