Available tools
Students taking courses in the Digital Media Technology have an array of tools available to them. In Klehm Hall Âé¶¹´«Ã½ may have courses in one of 3 computer labs containing the following software packages:
Each of the above software packages with the exception of Adobe is free for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ to download and use on their own devices. Students may also access Adobe and Autodesk software off-campus with VMWare. See here for more details.
The digital media lab in Klehm Hall room 1125 is open for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Monday-Friday from 7 am - 9 pm. There may be courses taught in the computer labs during these times. Please consult the open lab schedule for further information.

Students enrolled in Digital Media Technology have access to several hardware tools to complete projects. These may be accessed in Klehm Hall.

- 7 - Dell Visor VR Headsets
- 2 - Perception Neuron Motion Capture Suits
- 3 - Studio photography/video setups with lights and backdrops
- Digital inkjet and Laser Printers
Suggested Laptop Specifications
Laptops are not required at this time for this degree program but Âé¶¹´«Ã½ strongly encouraged to have another device available to them. Specifications for their device are as follows:
- 16 GB of RAM
- 512 GB SSD
- 64-bit Intel® or AMD® multi-core processor
Preference for Mac or PC is not given but some software packages that we use are only available on the Windows OS.
Open lab hours for Klehm Hall room 1125 during Spring 2023 are Tuesday and Thursday from 6-9 pm and Friday from 10 am - 4 pm
