Continuous Improvement
Committed to Â鶹´«Ã½' continuous improvement in their learning, faculty regularly reflect upon and take steps to improve their assessment of student learning. At Eastern Illinois University, assessment occurs on two levels:
- At the university-wide level, where it focuses on the abilities, attitudes and behaviors that the sum of Â鶹´«Ã½' experiences at EIU have imparted
- At the department level, where such learning continues, complemented by content knowledge in a discipline
