Subject: Free Campus Printing Extended
Over the past several semesters, printing costs for EIU Â鶹´«Ã½ were offset through a short-term State GEER grant. GEER funds were intended to assist Illinois higher education institutions through the pandemic. EIU’s GEER-based printing reserves were exhausted early in the Fall 2022 semester.
To provide continuity, the University subsidized free printing services to Â鶹´«Ã½ through the remainder of the fall semester (October through December 2022). To avoid any confusion, please know EIU will continue to offer no-cost printing through the end of the Spring semester on Friday May 5, 2023 before returning to standard printing charges Saturday, May 6, 2023.
