Dear EIU Students:
In keeping with Eastern Illinois University's on-going education and safety initiatives and in preparation for compliance with the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Acts, all new Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and new employees are required to complete a training program on preventing sexual and interpersonal violence. All continuing Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and employees are highly encouraged to complete the training.
An on-line training program has been created on Desire2Learn (D2L) to achieve this initiative. Please login at /eiuonline and enter your EIU username and password. The course name is Sexual Violence & Interpersonal Violence Prevention/ Procedures and will appear alphabetically in your course listings.
Please complete this training by December 2, 2013.
Additionally, a newly created website, Sexual Assault and Interpersonal Violence Resources and Prevention, contains important information related to sexual assault and interpersonal violence (http://www.eiu.edu/sexualassaultresources).
