OVC Recognizes Outstanding Campus Faculty -- John Morris honored as EIU representative

(BRENTWOOD, Tenn.) – The winners of the Ohio Valley Conference's Outstanding Faculty Commitment to Student Success Awards have been announced.
The awards were established in 2023 by the Provosts from each OVC member institution to recognize outstanding faculty at each OVC member institution. The recipients were recently announced at the 2025 OVC Basketball Championship, and award will be sent to each school so the winners can be honored on their own campus.
Each OVC member institution had the opportunity to nominate a faculty member with the rank of associate or full-time professor who has been employed at the institution for at least five years.
The criteria included impacts of Âé¶¹´«Ã½, contributions made to the department, university and curriculum development, consistent professional development as well as community involvement and institutional service.
This year's recipients are:
University of Arkansas at Little Rock: Jeremy Paprocki, Advanced Instructor, Counseling, Human Performance and Rehabilitation
Eastern Illinois University: John Morris, Senior Instructor and Undergraduate Advisor, Political Science
Lindenwood University: Dr. Kyle Sunderland, Associate Professor, Exercise Science
Morehead State University: Dr. Manuel Probst, Associate Professor and Department Chair, Health, Kinesiology, Imaging & Psychological Sciences
Southeast Missouri State University: Dr. Lori Mueller, Instructor, Management
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville: Dr. Lynne Miller, Instructor, Chemistry
University of Southern Indiana: Dr. Mark D. Krahling, Associate Professor, Chemistry
Tennessee State University: Dr. Vaidas Lukosius, Associate Professor, Marketing
Tennessee Technological University: Christina Turnbow, Senior Lecturer, Exercise Science/Human Sciences
University of Tennessee at Martin: Dr. Jack Grubaugh, Professor, Department of Biological Sciences
