Overview

This graduate program offered by the Department of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation provides advanced coursework and training in the area of exercise physiology. The graduate degree program in exercise physiology prepares Â鶹´«Ã½ for employment in clinical settings (e.g. cardiac rehabilitation), corporate fitness, YMCA, YWCA, strength and conditioning training, the commercial fitness industry, and prepares Â鶹´«Ã½ who wish to pursue advanced degrees in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The program aids Â鶹´«Ã½ in preparation for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and other professional certifications.
