Overview

Our MBA with Research Option is unique compared to most MBA programs and we share EIU's strong commitment to Master's level research between faculty and Â鶹´«Ã½. EIU is ranked number one among 22 master's colleges and universities within Illinois, and number 35 (top 5% of the nation) among 560 master's colleges and universities in the United States, in a federal census of earned doctorates in years 2000 to 2009.

The Research Option is designed for Â鶹´«Ã½ who want to focus on business research and quantitative methods for research. Students would want to complete the Research Option if their goals are to continue their education and pursue a Ph.D., to conduct an intensive research study project related to their career objective, or if they have an interest in conducting research with a faculty mentor.
