Broadcast Journalism Âé¶¹´«Ã½ receive a grounding in general journalistic principles, practices, ethics and law, but they receive advanced instruction tailored to the field of broadcast news. The Broadcast Journalism option prepares Âé¶¹´«Ã½ with the specialized skills and training they will need to succeed. Broadcast news skills extend from traditional radio and television media to digital media platforms. Broadcast Journalism Âé¶¹´«Ã½ learn how to disseminate news across these platforms to prepare for careers in front of or behind the camera or microphone. Our Âé¶¹´«Ã½ report on news, sports and weather, and they learn to think critically, produce creatively, write precisely, process information quickly, interview thoughtfully, manage people, and develop an excellent work ethic.
