INTRODUCTION
I'm here to be your go-to supporter as you find your place and belonging here at EIU! Eastern Illinois University is one of those places where you just feel at home! And I hope to help you in finding your way here at EIU!
About Me: I am a proud first-generation Latino student and a two time alumn, I did both my Bachelor's and Masters here at EIU!
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing and Digital Media. I came back to get my Master of Science in College Student Affairs, this has allowed me to assist Âé¶¹´«Ã½ of marginalized groups get the resources and support they need. As well as work with our Latino student population and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ under DACA and or Undocumented. I've also been involved in various RSOs on campus throughout the years, such as: Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc., LASO, Grupo Fe-Newman Center, DAC, and The Dreamteam.
Advice: Find your community, whether that is Greek Life, Athletics, Social Clubs, Multicultural, Community Service, anything! Find your support group and make memories!
