INTRODUCTION

Dr. Maniotes examines how couples and families can maintain healthy and safe relationships throughout the life course. His research is advancing knowledge about the role of relational routines (i.e., instrumental behaviors) and rituals (i.e., symbolic behaviors), with the potential to inform practitioners and ultimately improve the well-being of couples and families.
